  • Embassy Suites Tysons Corner 8517 Leesburg Pike Vienna, VA, 22182 United States (map)

Born on the 13th day of Rajab, Ali Ibn Abi Talib (as) exemplified the qualities of leadership, virtue, and benevolent rule. In honor of his birth, we have invited renowned professor, Dr. Abdulaziz Sachedina, International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) Chair of Islamic Studies at George Mason University, to speak on the different ways in which each of us can practice conscious leadership in our own lives.

A concurrent program for children ages 9 to 12 years old will also focus on fostering leadership skills. For the younger children ages 3 to 8 years old, play-based childcare will be provided.
