Ramadan Prep Goal-setting Workshop

  • Lawton Community Center 4301 Willow Lane Chevy Chase, MD, 20815 United States (map)

Start the holy month on the right foot!

In this interactive workshop facilitated by leadership coach Parvez Khan and social work supervisee Fatima Mirza, you will learn to lay a foundation for completing your personal and spiritual goals in advance of the holy month.

Parvez Khan serves corporate and non-profit organizations throughout the DC metro area, teaching participants how to implement new and enlightened approaches to overcoming struggles and achieving goals for Ramadan and beyond.

Fatima Mirza, PhD, MSW, grew up in Northern Virginia and has been active in the Muslim community throughout her life. She enjoys talking to young people and is interested in capturing their perspectives and helping others hear their voices. Through her master's program in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Mirza worked with young people and individuals who had experienced traumatic events.

Ramadan is a sacred time of personal reflection and deepening spiritual connection. We invite you to join us, and to connect with other DC metro area Muslims who share your anticipation and love for the holy month.

This program is free, but registration is required.
