Office Manager

NWMI is seeking an Office Manager to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks to support Event Leads.  The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skill and approachable demeanor.  S/he must have a passion for organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all items on event checklist are prepared/completed prior to the event;

  • Maintain NWMI supplies in Silver Spring storage unit;

  • Coordinate with transportation personnel to ensure delivery of supplies to events;

  • Locate and purchase supplies needed for events;

  • Maintain spreadsheets with pertinent event information; and

  • Provide assistance to other Team NWMI members when requested by the Executive Director or Program Director.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Email, Google Docs, and Internet)

  • A consummate team player with a flexible and creative approach

Hours

  • Flexible hours; up to 5 hours per week

  • $12-15 per hour depending on experience
