WORKSHOP ONE:
Identity, Privileges, and Self-Awareness
Through discussion, group activities, and self-reflection, this interactive workshop will help participants explore their social identities and how they intersect with race. Participants will consider the ways in which privilege or oppression have shaped who they are and develop ways to challenge values assigned to race.
This free workshop, led by two professional facilitators, is limited to 40 participants.
MuslimARC is an human rights education organization working to raise awareness and train Muslim communities on issues of racial justice. MuslimARC focuses on developing and delivering education on internalized, interpersonal, and institutional racism.
