This Ramadan, relax and reconnect with your body on Wednesday evenings! NWMI is excited to offer virtual yoga sessions every Wednesday prior to Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. Sessions will occur live on Zoom at 7 - 7:45 pm with a professional yoga instructor. Join in and feel the community spirit right from the comfort of your home! Open to sisters at all levels of yoga experience.
For a successful yoga session, participants will need stretchy/yoga pants (comfortable exercise clothes), and a yoga mat! Prop options include block, pillow/blanket, and yoga straps/bands.

Get to know our yoga instructor, Maryam Benomran!
Maryam is an RYT-200 certified instructor with Yoga Alliance through Yava Yoga and has been practicing for over 15 years. She teaches all levels of yoga including Meditation Yoga, Flow, Gentle Yoga, and Hatha Yoga. In addition to practicing yoga, Maryam enjoys hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and three children.
