President
Zeki graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. He currently invests and consults with early stage technology startups.
Zainab Khabir
Vice President
Zainab holds a masters degree in business and healthcare administration and is currently pursuing a degree in public health from George Washington University. She has experience in nonprofit and community development through social welfare endeavors.
Aamir Nooruddin
Treasurer
Aamir is involved with multiple masjids and volunteer efforts in the DMV. He currently serves as a Technical Executive in the DoD space and an adjunct faculty member in the Information Systems department at UMBC.
Haleema Rehman
Secretary
Haleema is passionate about spending time with youth and fostering a space that allows them to grow in confidence and faith. With an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from George Mason University, Haleema currently works for the Federal Government.
Trustees
Aliakbar Esfahani
Aliakbar is an attorney who guides employers through federal health and welfare law compliance issues. He holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Maryland School of Law.
Tannaz Haddadi
Tannaz graduated from George Mason University with degrees in Philosophy and Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She is a community organizer with over 26 years of experience. She is married and lives with her husband and two boys in Northern Virginia.
Tabassum Majid
Dr. Majid is Adjunct Faculty at UMBC and Executive Director of the Integrace Institute, a community-based non-profit organization. She has experience in strategic planning, youth programming, health services, and leadership development.
Kumail Zaidi
Kumail is the Chief Operating Officer of a 600+ person technology company in Tysons Corner, VA. With an undergraduate degree in technology and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Kumail has built and led organizations of all sizes.
