Introduce your children to the magic of Islam’s rich artistic heritage from the comfort of your own home. Join us for a family-friendly virtual storytelling by the Khayaal Theatre Company, an award-winning theatre and drama education company dedicated to the exploration of Muslim heritage for the stage, radio and screen. Eleanor Martin, the Associate Director, will capivate audiences through a story that touches on the themes of Muslim character and virtues. Then Khayaal’s Artistic Director, Luqman Ali, will speak on the importance of celebrating the aesthetic, artistic, and literary traditions of the Muslim world. This event will be led by NWMI community member, Asif Majid, who recently completed his PhD in Anthropology, Media, and Performance. Please note- this program will not be recorded for later viewing.
