Celebrate the beauty of our planet and the environmental spirit of Islam at this Earth Day event organized in partnership with Green Muslims, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting Muslims to nature and environmental activism.
We will begin with an easy family hike and scavenger hunt on the beautiful grounds of Butler’s Orchard, followed by age-specific, interactive discussion circles on good stewardship of the Earth!
Help us make this a low-waste event by bringing your own plates and utensils. After prayer and iftar, we will enjoy s’mores over bonfires and a live recitation of Dua Joshan Kabir under the stars by Br. Mohsen Roomipoor.
