Prepare for Ramadan with a holistic approach that nurtures both body and soul in our special Ramadan Readiness program. We will start the evening with communal dinner, followed by an enlightening workshop led by Dr. Muslimah 'Ali, where you'll uncover the secrets of integrating exercise into your fasting routine. Discover how mindful movement can enhance your physical well-being and elevate your spiritual experience. Dr. Ali will also guide you through dietary choices that can optimize your health and spiritual connection during this holy month. During the workshop, a Ramadan themed childcare program will be provided for ages 5 and up.
Following the workshop, immerse yourself in a serene session of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) with Nadia Hashimee, a Sufi Healing Practitioner. This soulful practice will help center your heart and deepen your spiritual awareness as you prepare for the month of reflection and devotion. There will be no children's program during the dhikr part of the program. We kindly ask families to plan accordingly.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to align your body and heart with the essence of Ramadan, fostering a more fulfilling and meaningful observance of this sacred time. Registration is required.
