Attention All Educators!

By Allah's grace, I am the Night Sky, a book written by NWMI teens, is receiving a lot of positive attention! In addition to to receiving a coveted "starred review" from the prestigious Kirkus reviews, the teens have been hosting author talks (on the topic of being Muslim in America) at bookstores and venues around the DMV. They were also featured in a BBC piece that showed interviews and clips from the book launch at Busboys earlier this year.

Their next event is sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools. We encourage all public school teachers to attend a free panel discussion on combatting Islamophobia, featuring teens and Muslim educators. We are so proud that our trailblazing NWMI teens are building bridges to a better world for the next generation.
